Nail Art Polish: Easiest Way to have Your Nails Designed!

Nail Art Polish is one of the simplest form of doing nail art. No need to buy machines, printers, gems, or stencils. All you need is colored polishes, creativeness, wild imagination and viola! You have your own nail art design!

Nail Art Polish is the system that I am using right now. I am doing all manually. Before when machines for nails are not yet improved and developed in the industry, all nail technicians use this kind of system. Nowadays, since machines and printers have been fully developed and has been out in the industry, almost all nail technicians and salons use this products to do their form of nail art design. But me, until now, I still use the manual method of it. Brushes, water, toothpicks, and polishes are my equipments. With the help of wild and artistic imagination, you can have your nail art designs from nail polishes.

Painting nails has been popular from a very long time. It has been known from all over the globe. In the early age, when nail polish was not yet available, they use their natural materials in decorating and painting their nails, body, and skin. It had its different ways, stages, perspective, and purposes in life for almost all people. When nail polish was invented and had been known in the industry, almost all women used this as fashion and making themselves attractive. Experimenting and creating new stuffs in the form of art called nail arts is very interesting and rewarding as well. It can be appreciated and admired by almost all people.

Nail art polish has different types, namely: Nail art designs, colors nail art, pedicure nail art, nail art brush, and marble nail art.

Nail Art Design
is the most common nail art. It will cost your a bit more rather than the other nail art polish. This is usually done in salons with the help of machines and paraphernalia used for nails. Gel nails, acrylic nails, and French manicure are known in this type.

Color Nail Art is usually done by combining two or more colors on the fingernails by dividing the nails into different sections. I often use this in designing my nails because it goes well with different decorations and this is mostly getting attraction from people. This is very easy to do. You can do this on your own. Divide your nails into different sections and paint them with different colors. Let them dry and you have your color nail art. You can also use nail art pens to do some drawing and lines with it.

Pedicure Nail Art also known as toenail art. It is usually done to your thumb toenail and the other toe fingers with less design. Why only the thumb finger? Because it is easier to put the nail art there and is the most visible toe nail on your feet. When you do this on your own, most women usually chooses the simple designs to put in because it hurts their back and getting a bit hard on doing it. I also do this in my nail designing.

Nail Art Brush is usually done with the help of different kinds of brushes. Different width, length, sizes, and form of the brushes. Since I do the manual type of designing, I use this kind of method. Designing, decoration, drawing lines, shapes, pictures and other stuffs to the nails with the help of thin brushes. Thin brush is the common brush they use because its easier to adjust the volume of the nail polish used in drawing designs.

Marble Nail Art is usually done in water. It is a bit hard work doing it and need to have more nail polish remover because it has lots of excess polish around your fingernails, but in return, it has a very nice a unique design you can make. How to do it? Simply drop two or three small amount of nail polish to the water and combine another drop of small amount of polish, make a design using a toothpick and dip your fingernails in the polish. Make sure that you dip your fingers to the water while the polish is wet so it will attach more to your fingernails and also make sure that the nail polish on the water can cover all your fingernails because if not, you will have to re-do it all over again. I tried this recently and its a bit hard but I will get used to doing it. I made couple of color combination with it and it had a very nice result.

Painting your nails is not that easy and not that hard job to do. Just experiment, combine colors, apply decorations, and you will have your most amazing nails ever with the use of nail art polish!

Having problems in choosing your nail designs? Here are some tips on How to Choose your own Nail Design

How to choose nail designs are a bit tough for lots of women. They almost always have hard time which ones to choose and which ones to make to match their appearance and clothes.

How to choose nail designs may vary in different ways such as: occasion, season, personality or mood, nail polish color, texture of designs, and the like.

Women nowadays like to look not only beautiful but attractive to other people. They like to be noticed all the time. Clothes, make-ups, and hair is not only the things that you need to enhance to be attractive but your fingernails as well. Nails can be instrumental in creating special effects and designs that adds a touch of glamor, extra appeal, and attraction to your dress and appearance. Nails are very important part of our body, they tend to look small but they play a big role for beauty. We color them, clean them, and take good care of them, for them to stay healthy, strong, and beautiful.

One of the best way to choose your nail design is by matching it to the clothes you wear. You can apply two different colors on top of each other. I recommend you to put one dark and the top one is weak color or the light ones like colorless glitters, metallic light colors or gold. You can always be creative and artistic in putting shades and combination of colors on your nails. You can have 2, 3, or more colors in your nails if you want. It all depends on what you like and what will suit you with your dress on.
You can also try choosing designs according to the season or occasion. You can have holiday nails, Christmas nails, heart-decorated nails, flowers for weddings, or other kinds of design you want according to what occasion you are going through.

Choosing nail design can also be according to your personality or your mood. If your a rock star, you can paint it black and have the rock star design on your nails. If your simple, you can only put simple designs. If your happy try putting smiley faces on your nails or bright colors that will make your nails also happy. If you want to experiment on your nails, you can have all in different design. It all depends on how you feel and how your personality goes.

Choosing the right nail polish color is also one way to choose your nail design. Having nail design is not always having drawings, piercings, or shapes on your nails. Nail designing can also be as simple as putting the nail polish in it. Combining different colors, putting different shades, and/or by just putting simple but attracting color nail polish on you nails.

Texture of designs can also help you choose your nail design. It can be shapes, lines, dots, swirls, drawings, or simple as color combination. I usually do color combination and putting shapes and lines over my nails. It looks simple, attractive, and suits me whatever I wear. You can also do the same. So you don't have to worry what color of your dress to wear. It's all in one to go.

There are lots of things on how you will choose your nail designs. Women and men can always be creative and artistic in so many ways. They like and love experimenting to make them look good. There are different ways and different designs to choose from. Make your mind work. Make it think wild, creative, and artistic. Then you could know how to choose your nail design.

Nail Art: Evolved through Generations

Nail Art is driving generations to generations. Starting from the late 3000 BC until now, year 2009. It's interesting and fun to know how nail art designing came to the present. From simple nail coloring to creative and wild imagination comes to a result of very fascinating form of art.

Nail Art from early age is a form of knowing the social status and position in life. Before, nail art and manicure is only done only by royalties and high-class people. Painting nails with red signifies of being a king or queen and other people are not allowed to paint it with the same color that their king and queen has. During the 3000 BC, there is a huge discrimination between rich and poor. They can classify it according to the color of the nails. Men and women are separated and grouped according to their nails. But now, it is not like that. Nowadays, people mostly women paint their nails to look beautiful and attractive. Women became so conscious on how to be attractive to men. Men on the other side, do manicures to keep their nails clean and free from bacterias. But that doesn't mean that they are gays!

Here is a time line of how Nail Art has been evolved through generations:

3000 BC – China made the first nail polish. India made the first art guided by their henna and putting dyes on their nails and body. Japanese and Italians are the first who used nail polishes to paint their nails.

1932 – French Revlon company was founded. First who used pigments instead of dyes. First to offer women rich-looking, opaque nail enamel in different shades that's never been available before.

1986 – Lorrie Fisher at the age of 28 won the first place in Goddess Finger Nail and Toe Art Show in Las Vegas, painting the whole story of the Wizard of Oz on a real three-inch-long fingernails. She was the first to design different pictures and characters to the fingernails for weddings and holiday events.

1989 – January 01, 1989 when Del Monico put artificial nails on a nail biter and later on, artificial nails has been use by salons and women for nail art designing.

1998 – The Nail Express first transferred pictures from photos to fingernails.

2000 – First to have nail art in toenails since before nail art is only done in hands. Women who is more conservative has applied it to toenails rather than hand fingernails. It is also the year when hospitals had banned nurses to wear artificial nails due to causing deaths for patients and babies. Doctors had discovered that bacterias and germs stays in between the artificial nails and this causes complication to open wounds, patients that are prone to diseases and sterilized tools used in the hospital.

2003 – When first 3D nail art designs has been published. Within one hour only, women can have 3D pictures on their nails.

2005 – When gel nails got so popular in Japan and France. It is known for being the “virtual nails in the land of the rising sun”.

2006 – When first digital nail art has been made. Computers and machines are the ones who's doing nail art. Fast and easy way to design your nails. Over hundreds of picture to choose from in the internet. From flowers to characters or even personalized pictures.

2009 – Nowadays, more and more women are getting interested in having their nails designed, whether to have artificial nails or just having it done to their natural nails, they still crave for it. Nail art is getting more and more popular than before, because of science and technology, nail art can be done in different forms of art and can be done in a very quick way.

Nail Art History

Nail Art History is not so easy to investigate because there are lots of contradicting theories about nail arts.

Nail Art History is one of the ways where we can know where really nail art originated. Some says that Japanese are the ones who practiced it first, some says that Italians did, and some says that it's the Chinese who did it first.

Nail Art is the most versatile and the latest fashion among most women nowadays. As for many other art forms like body paint, face paint and others, nail art also requires wild imagination and creativity, and with this, it gives way to the mind to do unique and enduring designs and patterns on the nails.

The various forms of nail art trends to include nail polish mainly to color fingernails and toenails. During 5000 years ago, India has been very popular and known for henna and using barks of trees to dye and manicure their nails. Manicure is a cosmetic beauty treatment that can treat just hands, just nails, or can be both, and later on applied by nail polishes and includes nail filing and shaping the nails. It is usually done and enjoyed not only by women but men as well.

Traced back to 3000 B.C., the first nail polish has been made in China. Chinese created varnishes and lacquers for the nails and with the advance form of science and technology, many other forms of nail art with other forms of quality, finish and beautiful colors came into existence. During 600 B.C., Chinese royalties often choose gold and silver to enhance their nails but after the 15 centuries, royalties then chose black and red and had been used over the centuries previous.

Egyptians also did the same thing as Chinese did but the difference is they use reddish brown. Egyptians also used nails colors to signify the social order of their people with shades of red at the top. Kings and Queens colored their fingernails and toenails ruby red and Cleopatra chose a deep rust red. Women of lower rank only allows to color their nails pale hues.

There isn't much things recorded about nail polishes up to the 19th century. Until now, nail polishes and nail art are very popular. A lot of women are very trendy and stylish when it comes to their nails. Not only women but also men are getting conscious about how their nail looks like. Nail art history really did made a big help for us to make look our nails beautiful and attractive.

Nail Art Decals and Contact Center of the Philippines

Nail Art Decals and Contact Center of the Philippines went to the World Trade Center yesterday to celebrate the “After Shift Call Center Agents Day” organized by Armie Duarte's team. Over 50 call center companies celebrated and jammed with the battle of the bands featuring “Parokya Ni Edgar” and “Chicosi”, watched models ramped the stage, went gaga with the lights, lasers and effects, and lots of girls went nuts having their fingernails done with different kinds of designs.

This was actually my first ever event I had since I started having my Nail Art Decals business. Within just >a few weeks of starting my business, Philippine Call Centers gave me a chance to share my fingernail art. During a 6 hour non-stop fingernail designing marathon, I had a long queue of girls wanting their fingernails to be done and made them so happy after transforming their fingernails from plain and no-polish fingernails to the most dashing and gorgeous fingernails they ever had! And this didn't cost them anything at all, I specially gave this service for FREE!

Surprisingly, I had a number of nail costumers wanting their fingernails to be beautiful too. I never thought beforehand that one quarter of my costumers would be male and this opens up a whole new world to me. Wow fantastic!

Thank you so much for the people who helped me out in the event especially to Tim Bennett and Armie Duarte and of course, to the Contact Center of the Philippines who made it possible for me to advertise my company be introduced to lots of other companies in the event.

Hope to see you and your nails soon at your upcoming events, parties, weddings, or other celebrations that you may have.

Mirror, Mirror on the wall...Who's nails are fairest of them all??

“Mirror Mirror on the wall...
who's the fairest of them all?”

If you are like me, you have stood in front of the mirror thousands of times and asked yourself that question and of course every woman wants the same answer..

“You!”

Us girls are a vain bunch, we spend millions of dollars between us each year trying to look beautiful and when we finish don't we look “the bees knees!”

I want to look beautiful too and since I was a kid I have always painted and colored my nails, sometimes all different colors much to my mom's horror! As a young girl I used to sit and watch her having her nails cleaned and buffed like some kind of princess in a movie and I wanted that treatment too. I used crayons and water color paints at the time because I didn't know what nail polish was!

Even the cat got done sometimes! Ha Ha

I have always been artistic. I loved art at school and the teachers would often find me looking up to the heavens in yet another “Bianca Nail Polish Adventure” as I day dreamed the day away as some super agent saving the world but with wonderfully painted nails!

When I got home, I painted my Supergirl nails with simple designs of a two matching colors until with practice I was using toothpicks and needles to draw miniature flowers and other colorful designs. I was the most colorful kid on the block and the envy of all my friends who eventually begged me to do their nails too. Famous at last!

But you know how it is...as we grow we forget our dream and our passions and school drums into us that we get a job and stop daydreaming and with my crushed fantasies I became part of the daily never ending job seeking students until I ended up in the dreaded call center world!

Big money they promised – but in reality I was just a small cog in their machine to make them loads of money exploiting me and my ambitions at the same time. Long hours accompanied by eye bags and lack of sleep soon became the norm and when I stood in front of the mirror and said “Mirror Mirror on the wall...” the mirror screamed, broke and fell to the floor in pieces.

The dream was gone, my nails were chipped and I was loosing Bianca to the system of the call center!

Does my story remind you of you at all? Crushed dreams and no future? But my story is not meant to make you feel bad, but rather to inspire you to follow your dreams as my story changes like all stories that start with “once upon a time...”

Once upon a time, there was a small 19 year old call center girl with chipped nails and a broken dream...

And then I met a guy who would change my life not only as a love, but also as an inspiration. As we sat in the house, he noticed that I spent hours always painting my nails. No sooner was I finished than I would paint again another color and it was he that suggested that I quit my job in the call center and turn my talent into a passion and a business.
And so was born the “baby” of Nail Art Decals, my very own business and only 19 years old!

Nail Art Decals is my future, not only will I bring joy to thousands of women just like you and me, but I will also be able to plan my future financially and obtain my dreams and passions. How nice to be the little girl painting my friends again.

Presently I am setting up two bases. One in Manila and the other in Boracay a beautiful island of sand, sun and an endless supply of wealthy customers looking for more beauty. Just what I needed and at the same time, I can enjoy the beach when I am not working. Not a bad place for my 1st office!

I do not want you to think that this was easy for me. It was not. I had almost no money to buy my brushes and tools of the trade and I needed to pay for permits and licenses and I had to borrow money to get going, but I believed in me and I believed in my passion – and the help of my man!

I was running 3 jobs at this time, call center agent, freelance nail artist and also working in a salon to make ends meet, but in the end I took the plunge, dropped the other work and focused 100% on my own nail business.

I wanted to associate myself with the big hotels in Manila and it took all my courage to approach them, but the rejection really got me down as they turned me away with another “No!” after “No!” but then I remembered “getting a “no” for an answer must not make me feel disappointed thus this must make me feel happy because for every “no” is a step leading me forward to reach “yes”.

And so, I always plan every day which hotels and which companies I need to go to so as not to forget anything and in my travels I was drawn to a shop called IANTI.

My attraction to them grew as I saw they had the polish I was looking for to complement my business.

One day, I went to IANTI and asked about the benefits of being one of their agents and if they already opened their shop in SM. IANTI, it is a company that supplies and sells products such as make-ups, nail polishes, Tupperware, etc. So then, to make the story short, I met the owner of IANTI, named: Ms. Maridel, swapped contact details and had a very nice conversation. And until now, we still do have nice conversation aside from just talking about business.

So this is how I started my own company, with the help from Tim (my man) and friends and of course IANTI. Maybe without them helping me I might not have given it a go and set up it all correctly, because first of all, I didn't have any idea how to run a business because I'm working as an employee and not as an owner and I didn't have any idea about nail arts being a business because I thought it's just a normal thing going on in the world.

This is how I fell in love with my business, it's not only because I'm the owner but it's because I like and I love doing what I'm doing, designing nails. The business might be new, but for my part, as a nail artist, I've been doing it for years. I didn't study how to design nails, it's just one of my hobbies and dreams that became a reality.

And now When I look in the Mirror...I know the answer already!

And if your mirror doesn't give you the answer that you want, email me at biancasantosnailartdecals@gmail.com and I can set my magic brushes into action so you get a resounding “YOU”.

Acrylic Nails vs Gel Nails

Acrylic nails vs Gel nails: Which are better to have?

Acrylic nails vs gel nails is always an important topic whenever a woman wants to have artificial nails. There is always a big competition when it comes to choosing between acrylic nails and gel nails, although acrylic nails came before gel nails.

Acrylic nails are more popular than gel nails. They can either be placed on the tips of your fingernails or the whole fingernail itself. Acrylic nails are also the strongest artificial nails among all, mostly when applied correctly and when the correct nail care is practiced, they will last for a long time.

There are two different types of gel nails: light cured and no-light cured. Light cured gel nails are hardened by placing them under a halogen or ultraviolet lamp. No-light cured gel nails are set by spraying or brushing the surface with a gel activator, or dipping the brushed fingernails into water. Light cured nails tend to look more natural and are easier to apply and maintain than no-light cured gel nails. Gel nails are said to be an enhancement because the long-term goal of wearing gel nails is to allow your own nails to grow healthy and beautiful under the gels, so it is as if your gel nails are actually a protective armour for your real nails as they grow again.

There are some various of advantages and disadvantages that might help you decide the right choice of nails for you and if you can't decide it is best that you talk to your nail technician or simply email me and I will help you.

Here are some of the advantages of acrylic nails:

Acrylic nails are easily available than gel nails, so it would be a lot easier for you to have acrylic nails because most of the nail salons offer these over the counter. These nails are commonly preferred by women because they tend to be the strongest, cheapest, and longer lasting than gel nails. Acrylic nails are well known for being more durable than gel nails. Among all artificial nails, these are the ones that last the longest without spending a lot of money and they don't need lots of maintenance. One good thing about having acrylic nails is when it gets damaged or break, you can almost always fix it temporarily and easily by yourself. The process of removing it is more easier, simple, and straightforward if done by a professional nail technician. The nails can be soaked rather than filed off.

Here are some advantages of gel nails:

Gel nails tend to look more natural and glossier than other types of artificial nails. They are better looking on the nail and have a natural feel when wearing them due to their thinness, flexibility, and light weight. Gel nails tend to look natural because of its crystal clear texture that's why it can be mistaken for regular nails. Gel nails are said to be odorless compared to acrylic nails because they don't use offensive smelling chemicals when removing and applying. These strong chemicals used in acrylic nails tend to cause more damage on your own natural nails than the chemicals used in gel nails. The curing time for gel nails is considerably shorter than acrylic nails. When applying the chemical there tends to be less filing involved rather than other artificial nails.

Disadvantages of having acrylic nails:

Acrylic nails can damage your natural nails in a harsher manner than gel nails, since acrylic nails are using stronger chemicals in applying it. When done incorrectly, acrylic nails can look fake instead of natural or can even look worse. Natural nails may have a difficulty in growing under acrylic nails because it tends to be thicker than gel nails.

Disadvantages of having gel nails:

Gel nails don't last long and are less durable than acrylic nails even though they are more expensive. When applying nail polish to the finished gel nails, they don't stick as much and can therefore be removed easier compared to acrylic nail. When damaged or broken, gel nails are more difficult to fix than acrylics because there are not as many salons providing this service and they can't easily be fixed at home because of the gel chemical used. So, when damaged, you need to set an appointment right away with your nail technician. When removing the gel nails, it usually done by filing off not unlike acrylic nails that you can just soak in water.

When looking and deciding for artificial nails that will suit you best, it is always the best way to know the advantages and disadvantages for you to lessen any damage that you will may acquire to your real natural nails. Acrylic nails are always in contrast with gel nails that's why there is always a topic for acrylic nails vs gel nails.

Gel Nails

Gel Nails

Gel nails
are the future of the nail industry and are said to be "the nails on the go" when you want beautiful nails that look natural.

Gel nails and acrylic nails are said to have similar results.

Although gel nails and acrylic nails have a lot in common, for example, they can strengthen nails, lengthen short nails, and they can both turn dull and ugly nails to any design to give you the beauty you want.

Gel nails often look more natural and glossy looking than other types of artificial nails. Gel nails are an extremely natural-looking enhancement with thin, clear, flexible, non-yellowing, nonporous, and with resistant lifting characteristics.

Because the technique of applying gel nails is more specialized, there are not as many nail technicians qualified to apply and care for your desired new creations. So while there is a high demand there are relatively fewer salons providing this service and as a result the price does tend to be higher, but when you find a good nail technician keep them as they are worth the wait and searching.

Gel nails are said to be: "easy to learn but so hard to master", and it takes a trained manicurist to know the real art of applying these nails. Do not settle for less than the best as the result will be less than desired and you want to look your best for all occasions.

When wearing any kind of artificial nails, you should see your nail manicurist or nail technician every few weeks for them to maintain your nails in the best condition. Gel nails or any other kind of artificial nail will always damage your natural nail a little if they are not applied or removed correctly. There are some benefits to having gel nails instead of acrylic nails such as: being odorless, natural feeling and looking, thin, flexible, crystal clear, light-weight, and no lifting. Actually, having any form of artificial nails such as gel nails or acrylic nails doesn't really do a lot for your base nail, so once you have had your artificial nails done, you need to have a regular routine to keep them in good health.

Even though gel nails have benefits or advantages, there are also some disadvantages. Gel nails don't typically last that long compared to acrylic nails and gel nails also tend to cost more rather than acrylic nails. There are some nail polishes that are not designed to be applied to gel or acrylic nails and care must be taken to make sure that your polishes are the appropriate ones or damage may occur to the nail. Gel nails when broken shouldn't be repaired at home because it is a skilled technique so you need to contact your nail technician about this. However, acrylic nails are more easy to fix when broken and also, gel nails need to be filed on a regular basis and can't easily be removed by soaking.

When you want to remove the gel nails book an appointment with your nail technician as they will know the correct procedure for removing the artifical nail without damage to your own natural nail.

Being knowledgeable about the advantages and disadvantages of artificial nails will enable you to make enlightened decisions regarding the your real nail care and save your natural nails for damaging and chapping. Gel nails can be nice because they have fewer chemicals applied to your natural nail rather than the acrylic and other kinds of artificial nails, also consider the expenses of gel nails.

Acrylic Nails

Acrylic nails are said to be the strongest and the longest lasting among the artificial nails that has been made.

Acrylic nails can be placed on the tips of your fingernails or can be the whole fingernail itself.

Nowadays, you can see lots of women being conscious not only with their appearance and grooming but with their nails as well. And most women choose to have acrylic nails rather than having the other artificial ones. Why? Because, acrylic nails are said to be the cheapest, strongest, and longest lasting artificial nails. Acrylic nail are the most commonly known and used artificial nails mostly for women who always wanted their nails to be long, beautiful, and have problems maintaining their own nails. Acrylic nails are commonly used by the women who are always on-the-go and don't have time fixing their nails.

Acrylic nails are also known for durability. Among the other artificial nails, these are the ones that last the longest without having to spend too much money and they don't need lots of maintenance. But of course, one should not be too hard on your nails or else you might break them and you will need to visit a manicurist to fix them. Caring for these acrylic nails needs lots of fillings whenever the natural nails grows. But of course remember you can find shops easily because this kind of artificial nails can be attached wherever you go.

Acrylic nails must be applied by an acrylic nail professional because if acrylic nails are not attached properly they probably won't last too long, so, that's just a waste of money, but if done properly, it might even last for years. This is very important for women to have nails look real, thin, and attractive rather than to have an artificial and thick look.

Removing acrylic nails can be quite painful because they are attached to your natural nails. You need acetone, nail file, nail clippers, lots of heavy cream or oil to remove them. Removing them by yourself might not be the best idea because they might break, chop, or damage your natural nail. Best option is to let a professional remove your acrylic nails.

Artificial Fingernails

Artificial fingernails are also in the field of nail art. These are the ones where nail art designs are placed. It may be the natural nails but sometimes it’s hard and women like to make their nails look very attractive and beautiful.

Artificial fingernails have 4 different types and that includes: acrylic nails, gel nails, sculptured nails, and wrap nails.

Acrylic nails are one of the most popular types of artificial fingernail and is used as either a nail tip, or a whole nail overlay. Acrylic nails are typically the strongest, thickest, and most durable of the artificial fingernails. While acrylic nails are not known for their natural look, acrylic nails that are incorrectly applied can look even less natural.

Gel nails are made with a "light cured" or “UV” gel consisting of pre-mixed polymers and monomers. This special gel is first brushed onto the surface of the natural nail, and then is set, or "cured," under an ultraviolet light. "No-light" gels, an alternative to the light cured gel, are slowly gaining in popularity. Artificial fingernails made from gel tend to look more natural than acrylic nails, but are not as strong or durable. Additionally, if they are not applied by a qualified professional, they may be hard to remove, resulting in damage to your natural nails.

Wrap nails are small, thin pieces of silk, fiberglass, paper or linen that have been cut to a desired shape and glued or bonded to the surface of the natural fingernail. Because wraps are the softest of the artificial fingernails, they are also the least durable. However, because they are so thin, smooth, and lightweight, wraps are usually considered to be the most natural looking of all the artificial fingernails.

Sculptured nails are another popular type of artificial fingernail. These nails are applied to the natural fingernail with an acrylic or a fiberglass gel, and lengthened and sculpted over a metal or foil form to produce the desired shape and length. Sculptured nails generally last longer than other types of artificial fingernails, but must be filled in on a regular basis in order to maintain a natural appearance.

Although artificial nails tend to look more beautiful than our real and natural nail but they are just so expensive in maintenance and hard to keep it always new. But to tell you honestly, I want to learn how to make and put on my own nails these different types of artificial fingernails.

Nail Art

Nail Art is one of those things that I really do enjoy doing so much. It is said that a woman's nail art defines her very soul and herself as a person.

Nail art is one of the most versatile and latest fashion statements today. As many other art forms, nail art also requires wild imagination and creativity. This wild imagination and creativity gives way to plethora of unique and enduring designs and patterns.

Nail art brings out the best of my wild imagination and allows me to experiment with unique colors, patterns and designs.

Every time you do designs in nail art, you can have it depending on: what you’re wearing, what’s on your mind, what your mood is, what you like most, or just what you saw in other things.

My starting point for my nail art always begins with a blending of the colors in my mind. This is important so you’ll know that the design that you’re picking can be seen and can attract other people’s interest. Next thing I do is to imagine what design suits my nails; this may vary on what my mood is, what I’m wearing, or just like what’s my favorite shape. So with these steps, I can make my own nail art design uniquely and differently.

Nail art is a creative activity that draws pictures or designs nails. Therefore nail art can express your sense of art. Because these days the whole body aesthetic is so popular that nails and toenails are regarded as important to show a point of beauty.

If you want to look beautiful it's time to study your nail art.
